Are you kidding! That's one serving?!

OK, Well this morning while putting my lunch together for school I decided I would measure out one serving of Goldfish Crackers. Well 32 crackers later boy was I feeling deprived. My three year old son eats more than that. So I figure more water. In the beginning I will probably feel like a water balloon to curve the temptation to eat more food. Yes I eat more than one serving size, don't most Americans? I've also found that I eat often throughout the day. In cooking dinner for the family last night I was able to measure out my own portion without my toothpick husband saying, "That's it?!"
When feeding toddlers it's hard to throw out what they've not eaten even if you've given them a smaller portion because that internal mother is saying "There are children starving in the world and you won't eat your dinner!" Finally you end dinner by guiltily scraping the remnants into the garbage.
