I am so ashamed of myself.  I really did it this time.  I was really doing well keeping the weight off and working on whittling it down a bit, then my mother passed away, my Dad colapsed on me in grief and hurt my knee, I quit working out- initially due to the pain in my knee, changed jobs to help out the family business - stressed me out of my mind, then the holidays and the next thing I know I'm wearing my comfy clothes (sweats and yoga pants) because it's winter.  The next event when I had to actually put on a pair of slacks....they didn't fit.  The funny thing is - I threw out all the big clothes last year when I had dropped almost 50 pounds.  I didn't want to see them anymore and I sure didn't want to grow back into them....now what have I done?  I gained 20 of it back without even paying attention.  I am so discouraged.  I started walking again last Friday and now I'm back up to 2 1/2 miles comfortably after pushing myself hard for 5 days straight.  I dare not step on the scales, because in true "Debbie" fashion, I'm sure I've gained weight instead of lost it like I always initially do.
I was using a diferent calorie counter and could not bare to see it telling me that I gained 20 pounds with a thumbs up sign...a glitch in their program I presume, so I searched and found this one.  I know the best way to lose weight is to watch what you put in your mouth and exercise.  I have also found in the past (before I knew what a weight problem was) that when helping other people with their weight issues (former dance, aerobic and weight room instructor) that the best way to watch what you eat is to write it down.  I think this is an awesome tool and I'm hoping the community forum will help me by keeping me inspired and giving me the incentive to reach my goal.  Good luck to all!
