I started on this FitClick page about two weeks ago, but only added pages when I felt like it. This week I am totally committed to filling out the pages every day no matter when I get to do it. I am serious about losing these 20 pounds that I've gained since I started back at school.
The past few days I've been working out a lot, but today I can't get to the gym. I have class soon then work. By the time I'm done work it will be 11pm. I have a thirty minute drive home, then off to bed because I have to be up for class at 8:45 tomorrow morning. Eat a sensible breakfast with coffee and leave by 9:30am. I will never give up coffee! Lucky for me I can drink it without milk and sugar.
So my plan for tomorrow is to attend class from 10-3, then work out at the school gym for an hour, then home, eat a sensible meal, do some homework, then off to work.
I've only started eating breakfast recently. It actually does help because I am not tempted to gorge on a bunch of food after class. I've also started bringing meals from home so I don't stop off at McDonald's or Taco Bell during the day.
I like having a program that keeps track of my calories. If I eat a tuna sandwich with 400 calories for lunch, then I will choose something with less calories, like a salad, for dinner. Or if I eat a turkey sandwich for lunch with 200 calories, I can eat chicken for dinner. It helps me to balance out my meals so I don't eat more calories than I need during the day.
This page is also motivating me to workout more (except days like today). I am able to see how many calories I burn on the treadmill or following a dvd which gives me a sense of accomplishment.
I'm hoping that I can keep up the willpower!
