The begining!

To begin my blog, I wish to tell about my reasons for wanting to shed some lbs. My wedding date is August 14th and I want to look amazing for my husband to be. I am currently at a weight of 165 lbs and though I would not consider myself fat I could afford to lose a little bit of flab and tone up a bit. My goal weight for August would be 130 lbs. However, I would like to mention that this is not my first attempt at this weight loss. I tried this back in September to November and only lost a total of 4 lbs that entire time! So frustrating! Three months and only 4 lbs! Let me explain my last attempt. I went from drinking about 3 or 4, 20 oz sodas a day to none and only drinking water with maybe 1 glass of sweet tea every other day. I also began walking 3 miles a day and cut out most of the unhealthy food that I was eating and only took in about 1,500 calories a day. This was down from about 2,500 calories. I cannot explain why I did not lose any more than 4 lbs! Eventually, I got tired of not seeing any results and slowly crept back into my old habits. I am hoping that this time it will be different and i will be able to prove to myself that I am not worthless and it is possible for me to lose weight.
