I started this journey at 405 Lbs 6 foot tall. unable to do much exercise at all... I really could not even walk for any distance.  So I started with increasing fun activitys. Where i lived in we were very rual lots of dirt roads and rocky tails at 7,000 Feet in altitude. So my first activity was riding an atv. i know this may not seem like and exercise but it did get me out of the house .. and i think i had to work some muscles just to keep my big butt on the bike. After a short time i started walking and watching what i was eating.. In correctly i should add. I concentrated on Fats in the products i was eating .. and that did help BUT itis not the holy grail of weight loss.

When you get to the point where you read the lables on stuff and also stat taking caloires in effect. then it all sinks in. a lot of food that normally would have avoided becuase of fat.. Turn out to not be bad in collories. and other food that i thought were safe. "grains" realy pack on the callories quickly.  I would go through 2 loves of bread a week just making sandwitches and yes this was high fiber bread.. but still that is what i call empty callories .. come times youhave to have bread it is better with your meal choice.. but avoid All breads and crackers and any thing of that type and you will work wonders with weight loss.

The other major change i made is the scale buy a good scale that will mesure your body weight .. and weight daily.... YES daily the same time every day you will have to understand your body weight cycles you will gain weight.. and then lose weight. Be prepaired for this .. you can have been cutting back and ar orud of your self .. and then weight and GO OMG i gained  lbs .. this is normal the more you weight you will see these cycles.

For me my body cycles up and down arround 4 Lbs... even with a constant weight loss that i have right now of 1.8 Lbs a week that still goes up and down with new highs and new low weights during the week.

Keep track of your highs or you lows ... and then watch them move .. Down...

The other thing that hit me hard... Was understanding finally How easy it is to gain weight ... 3500 caloires is one pound.. So if you ate at Micky D's unhealthy  for all three meals in a day... you could eat 3500 Calories easy ...
and gain one pound... Heck home made cheese cake has Get this ... 1000 collories a slice A SLICE ... and i would eat two pieces ... OMG no wonder i got this big...

As for will power I guess i have none.. if it is in the house then ill eat it ... So guess what just dont buy it ...

when one hours of moderate exersie is 500 caloires burned ... it would take you 7 days to burn off that same pound...

That is scary to me .. one day of bingeing would mean i have to run my lil bum arround the track 7 days just to break even ...
