Juneteenth - It's called Juneteenth because the precise date was lost.  It's either June 17 or June 19 they don't know.  They do know it was emancipation from slavery.  How exciting and confusing it must have been to entertain the thought of where to go, how to start, and the steps to take to get there and begin the journey.  Weight loss is a journey of emancipation.  Difficult, exciting, confusing, full of decisions & choices, with setbacks as low as a valley and an internal drive to move the mountain, but it opens up a whole new world.  Time to move, because I haven't logged a workout yet.  Was spending way too much time trying to figure out how to use this program.  Today I honor emancipation and will do cardio of jumping rope - I don't like jumping jacks but I don't mind jumping rope, it reminds me of being a kid.  I'm not perfect but I'll get up to 17 in a row without goofing up the rope.  I challenge myself for 10 mins.  Then on to core body strength through use of those tiny muscles in the stomach area that I forgot I had.
