I was back at the gym today around 9:30. It felt good to be back mainly because of the $50.00 a month I am paying to be there.
I always feel eager on my first day back in a while and that's how I felt today. Advice from a friend helped me to lower the weight I use on each machine and increase the amount of reps. This went well and I felt that this will be more reasonable to keep up.
At the gym my log stated that the last time I worked on strength training was May 20th. A month and one day later I realized that this will most likely be my biggest challenge of the summer. Itunes helped but next a goal is needed.
I feel that strength training three days a week would be a reasonable goal. In addition to the strength training a light jog (8 times around the track) helped me to feel like I "worked out".
The calorie counter has helped the most so far! Healthier foods are helping me to lose weight fast and feel good about my body at the same time.
Today I'm traveling home to PA where my step-mom's cooking is always a weakness. My plan is to show her the website and begin by offering to cook dinner Tuesday night. I might have to buy my own food at the grocery store or maybe I can find some healthy food alternatives in the fridge.
