My First Day

I am 21 years old and have constantly struggled with my weight. While my current weight of around 170 is not so terrible, it is definitely not a healthy weight for my height (a short 5' 5''). I am now entering my last year of college and am planning on attending law school next year. I am so excited for all of these new opportunities, but my depression about my weight keeps getting in the way. I have decided that I won't wait until I'm older, looking back on my life and regretting my inactivity. I can choose to start today and work towards a healthier body and a healthier self-image. If I slip up along the way, I just have to remember that it isn't the end of the world and to give up would just be to lose the best life I could have. I'm too young to worry about regrets; this is supposed to be the best years of my life! I will work to make them exactly that so I won't regret my life choices later. Life is too short.
