3 months after birth...time to get back in shape!

So I had my first child, a baby girl, three months ago and I want to get back down to my orginal shape. Right now I am at my heaviest I ever was while not pregnant but want to lose about 10-15 more pounds. I would like to try running but since I had a c-section will probably continue with my daily walking and just step it up a notch. Anyone have exercise tips or experiences regarding c-section postnatal?
