Texas Half Marathon Countdown - 136 Days

We've adopted one of the Galloway Half Marathon to Finish plans. This one allows 19 weeks of training before the half marathon. That seems pretty much ideal to us since our training time before the half marathon is just one week longer than the training plan. We're going to San Diego in September and we think it might mess up that week's training. But as long as nothing else gets in the way of the training schedule, we'll be ok.
We're on the second week of his plan. This week we do two 30 minute runs during the week and a long 4 mile run on the weekend. Next week our long run increases to 5 miles. I think we're both somewhat nervous about how fast we need to increase our distance in order to make the half-marathon a reality, but it's an excited sort of nervousness.
