It's been three days since my last entry and I have lost 2lbs. I have been dragging butt and this I can honestly say has been the hardest thing that I have ever done. Just to stay away from the foods that I love is hard enough. But, running every day has been one of the hardest hurdles to jump. Believe it or not, I started out just walking on my lunch break. Then once that first 10lbs dropped, I decided that it couldn't hurt to walk in the morning before work. Slowly but surely just walking turned into a power walk, then a walk/ jog. And now, I get my " jog on". Not quite a run, but still working on it. I'm moving and that is really all that matters. One of my biggest fears was getting out on the sidewalk and power walking as the people in their cars drove by me. I always look down at the pavement so I wouldn't make eye contact to see their reaction. I feel like I'm in a fish bowl for all to see. Eight months later that fear is still there. The fish bowl is alive and well, but I don't care as much any more. I am very top heavy and I can't even imagine what I look like jogging down the street. But, I'm so happy about my new body, It is ridiculous. I swear this is a rollercoster ride, but I don't want off. Not yet. Down to 196 and loving it. Thanks for all the words of encouragement. And I am here for you to. 15lbs to go, 72lbs lost . Todd is in my reach. I can smell him like BBQ sauce on ribs, sooo good!
