 I'm starting with a smile because i'm super excited to find a free weightloss site that will help me! It will help me stay on track with calories and exercise and also keep this blog. Also it contains helpful diet plans and i can read and see how others are loosing weight and the tips they have!

I just had my first baby in December she will be 8 months this weekend. I am nursing. I thought with nursing you loose weight faster, i guess not for everyone!! I actually lost a good amount after i had her i only needed to loose 15 lbs. but somehow i put on more weight. With nursing i tend to eat and snack more because i don't have time to prepare a healthy dish, at least those are my reasons.

With the weather getting cooler i have been going out for walks. Also Lily is teething so it helps her to soothe herself and zone out which she then passes out. =) I try to get out and walk. I was doing Zumba videos but it just got way too HOTT. The zumba really made me sweat and what i'm finding out was that, that was GOOD because it meant i was burning calories. i somehow have to get into a fitness schedule...i hate doing the same thing everyday so maybe different thigns like video, weights, walking, treadmill. something different. I have a treadmill in the basement and weights.. so maybe i'll actually take advantage of them.

I went food shopping the other day and got mainly lean pockets, fruits, veggies, pudding, cereal, yogurts. I eat mainly like a veggitarian but i'm not i just don't cook meats. I just used the calorie calculator and realized im eating WAY more calories than i thought. I also realized that i eat MOST my carbs after 6pm.. which is the opposite of what i should be doing!! good thing i'm able to track it and see it b/c i would have never known.

I'd like to loose 5lbs. a month if that's possible. I want to continue eating to produce the milk for my baby..but i want to also loose weight in a healthy manner. If i lost 5lbs. a month that would be 20 lbs. down from today!! and 20 lbs. down around my birthday and Lilyanna's first birthday, christmas and new years. I WOULD BE THRILLED!!! the extra 10 are just to get back to the good ol' highschool weight..I've been 150 steadily for a few months now but hopefully with the realization of my calories and the weather getting cooler i'll be able to know what i eat and work out more.

we'll see where life goes from here.. but today i have a positive outlook!! Thanks fitclick!!
