Phase 3 Freedom w/Tracking

I figured out how to do Phase 3 here; it took me most of yesterday afternoon!
If you choose a diet plan, you are given meal plans and nutrient goals, with very small target ranges. That's fine for Phase 1 and 2, but NOT for Phase 3. So I turned off the diet plans. Here's how: From the Diet Tracker screen, click "switch" next to the name of your diet plan; choose Track Only.
However, my nutrient goals didn't change until I edited them. Here's how: At the very top of the site banner, choose "Account." Under Diet Preferences, choose Edit Nutrient Targets. Here you can choose what to track, and what your goals are. The catch is that if you set goals for Calories, Carbs, Protein, and Fat, the percentages must add to 100, and you end up with tiny target ranges, like before.
To get the nice wide target ranges of Curves' Phase 3, I chose not to track carbohydrates. I set only three goals: UNDER 2000 Calories, OVER 15% Protein, and UNDER 30% Fat. In practice, this suits how I operate in Phase 3: {A} Have I had enough Protein yet? {B} How many Calories do I have left for dinner? {3} Do I have enough Fat left to have ice cream for dessert?
I'm relieved to have found my way to a solution on this website; I hope this is useful for others, too.
