As the title says, this is week 2 for me.  The first week I had been very bloated and at the end of that week I lost 7 lbs!  That was great, but I knew it wouldn't last.  I had hoped that I would lose 2 lbs. this week and I weighed in today and those 2 lbs. are gone.  Total for 2 weeks = 9 lbs.!

I did go to a wedding this week and I was worried that I might not lose anything.  It was very hard to tell just how many calories I was taking in.  I tried to limit myself, but they had a candy table with chinese take-out boxes to take candy to the table and home.  Well, hubby went up and filled 3 boxes!  I did have a few candies that night, a couple at the wedding and a few more at home that night.  I didn't have any more after that.  Yesterday, hubby asked for more candy and I handed him the last box.  Except for the first night, when I did have a few, I kept those boxes out of sight and mind b/c I didn't trust myself to limit myself.  I don't know if hubby polished them off and don't want to know.  If I don't see them, I won't be tempted.

At a wedding, well at least at this one, there were many appetizers at tables and people were walking around with trays too.  I had a few things which I tried to pick the best I could, but I'm sure I went way over that day.  That was last Sunday and today is Thursday and I still lost 2 lbs. so I'm pleased.  Maybe I'll lose even more next week, but if I lost 2lbs each week, that'll be good.

Keep going, Nance!
