Living with Diabetes, congestive heart failure and Parkinson's Disease is no easy task. I am about 75 pounds overweight, give or take 10 pounds. I have been LAZY. That is the easiest way to put it.

I rarely check my blood sugars, I eat when and what I want, and I never ever exercise.

All that has changed this week. I am checking my blood sugars and giving my self boluses of insulin as needed. I am eating 1800 calories a day and counting my carbs. I am trying to exercise an hour a day to lose weight and prevent the Parkinson's Disease from getting worse. I have physical therapy 2 days a week with a trainer who calls herself Matilda the Hun.

I walk the dogs at least three times a day for 15 minutes.

I weighed in after 3 days and found that I had lost 6 pounds. Now I am waiting on the "Biggest Loser" to call. LOL
