Well, I weighed in at 133 this morning. I'm over the moon now because this means I've lost 21 pounds so far and that the finish line will be in sight soon, hopefully. Sometimes I feel like this journey is such an emotional roller coaster. You lose a pound and you are high as a kite, but if the scale doesn't move or moves in the wrong way, it can be devastating. Lately I haven't been noticing the loss on my weigh in day which is really throwing me off. I notice a couple days later, which makes me wonder if I shouldn't just move my weigh in day to make myself feel better?
On a side note, I've noticed something very very strange. The scale says I've lost weight, the mirror says I've lost weight, but when I look at my body, I feel as though I have made no progress at all. I don't know if I'm just imagining this or if maybe that's just how I'm seeing it because I'm staring down at my body instead of looking at it straight. Anytime I mention it to my husband, he'll do something silly (yet aggravating) like grab my love handle or show me where my belly use to be. I guess soon I'll just get over it, especially since I can now fit into all my old pants and jeans, well I can at least button and wear them even if I still have a little bit hanging over.
My goal this week is to continue to drink more water, at least getting in 64 oz a day, and to buy fast food only once and have freeziac yogurt only once. I really need to be more diligent in recording my calories, and at least now that I don't have anymore candy lying around, I should be able to have a more accurate account of what I'm putting in my mouth.
