Beast of a day! completed core training followed by intervals. Intervals were supposed bo be done on the recombant bike but at the time both were in use. Tried the eliptical but could not get my HR up in the first few minutes so jumped on the stairmaster.
Cardio Monitor: Total time 134m, in zone 80m, aHR/130, mHR/156 Kcals 1416.
Warmup: HR/113
Core: Plank off floor 12 reps 2 sets 5.0.5 (up from last time could only do 6), flutter kicks 12 reps 2 sets 5.0.5, step up to ballance sagital 12" 6/side 2 sets. found this to be hard today poor ballance for some reason on both legs.
Intervals 60 min on Stairmaster avg 40SPM, 155 floors, 3.22 miles and avg level of 3.2. Started out L5/4 ended up L4/3. HR/151-153 typically got over a few times, had to stop the machine a couple of times to get a 12-14 beat drop. Recovery at L1.
Day 1 Cardio. Hopped on the recomant bike for 15 min kept HR/135-140 range
Overall very pleased with the way this workout went. Off tommorow back at it Friday w/day 3 of week 6 intervals. wrap up saturday with strength and day 1 cardio
