Didn't log in yesterday, but was mindful of what I ate. Brunch at my in-laws could have been disasterous calorie-wise, but I knew that at some point, I'd be forced to log it all. That's a great tool. A bit horrible to see in black & white...but useful. I'm definitely noticing a trend. My carb intake is high, my protein intake is low. I consume about 500 useless calories a day...or more. Ouch. Personal short-term goal: log every bite...no matter how painful...for one week.
On the positive side, I strapped my sneakers on, popped the headphones in and actually walked this morning. Not a leisurely stroll, but an actual heart-healthy type walk. There's nothing like the B-52's in your ears to make you want to boogie the entire way! I enjoyed it so much, I'll do it again tomorrow! Personal short-term goal: walk everyday for one week.
