I've got my life vest on (hardly fits), my paddle in hand (already out of breath) and I'm ready to take on this new experience. Well....it's the same experience I've started over and over again the last 15 years, but this time with a new set of glasses ?!? Already over the hill, no children yet....just my husband and I and our two dogs. I want to do this for ME. I want my husband to do something for himself too. When I think about all the cute clothes I could wear and fit into "when I lose weight, one day" I don't think about impressing other people, I don't even think about how stunning I will look for my husband. I think about that day when I will look in the mirror and be happy and content with myself that I was able to zip up a pair of jeans that make me look too damn good.
I'm starting yesterday. I hope this site will keep me enthused about weight loss, not just the fashion benefits.....but the health ones as well. I hope to meet people on here that will build me up as well as maybe me touching someones life in some way. Its a new year, a time for new visions, new ideas, new self outlooks, new friends, and CHEERS to a new US! I should go for now, my Turkey Burger is almost done cooking in the George Foreman Grill!
