Wow. Even eating what I think is healthy, the calories add up. Oatmeal with a little brown sugar (1tsp) and maple syrup (1 tblsp), with raisins, sounds healthy right? Wow, with 1/2 cup 2% milk and 1/2 cup water and a little cinnamon.... I was alarmed at almost 400 calories. I can't eat it plain. Thought if I measured just a little sugar it would be okay. 1/4 cup raisins.... 130 calories!!!!!! ugh. This time of the year fresh fruit is soooo expensive. Guess I will try some frozen fruit in my oatmeal. For all those calories... it better stay with me for more than 2 hours!!!!
