Day 4 success

Well I took my first successful trip to the grocery store since I have started dieting. All fresh veggies, greens, fat free feta, egg beaters for veggie omelets, I dont believe it but I kept on the entire outside of the store and didnt go down an "inside aisle" once! I am taking the time to make more fresh meals and consiously trying to increase the protein, lower the carbs and eat plenty of fruit and veggies. I sauteed my leeks in yesterdays soup in a small bit of veggie broth instead of oil and never knew the difference in the taste. My biggest challenge right now is that I am on such a bad sleep schedule that I am not able to fall asleep till 2am sometimes. So when my last meal was at 6, 7-8 hrs later I am pretty hungry, so I need to find a way to curb the massive hunger pains when I am laying in bed listening to my husband snore and my stomach is growling even louder!
