whoooo hoo - Day One :)

So it's lunchtime on day one. And I really want all the naughty, gooey carbs that I should not eat. So I shall not. I mean, come on, it's day one! Because New Year resolutions can be lofty epitaphs at best, I am going to keep it simple. Eat better, exercise more. Done. Family membership at the Y to lead by example (but the kids have super-human metabolisms like their faterh) and actually get myself moving. Never going to be an athlete - lack the basic coordination required to pull that off. But I should be able to handle a zumba class, a pilates class and some treadmill time. Must stop eating fast food for lunch...bad for wallet and waistline. This week's mini-goal - take healthy food to work for fridge...if I don't have to go out to get lunch, perhaps I will not be so tempted by Burger King and McDonalds.
