plateau = slow

Well, I have officially hit my plateau. I have been so good this week (only missed fri/sat work outs) and it seems the scale hasn't moved at all this week. Im still doing atkins, and Im still in ketosis... but no weight has come off this week. A little damper on my motivation for sure but Im still gonna hang in there!
Im finding I can really enjoy food and I have a lot of options for foods that are low carb... which I didnt really know about before. I have my reg. routine breakfast, but I've begun researching low carb dinner recipes and Im pretty impressed with the way the food tastes!
I find that because I am eating less, I feel lighter and I actually feel HUNGRY prior to a meal versus just eating because its lunch or dinner time. Maybe its because my stomach is growling that the food just tastes so delicious... but Im really enjoying my new found tastebuds :)
I have been reading on the internet and they all say the only way to get thru the plateau stage is to push through it.... difficult as it may be. So, Im going to try and do that. I want to find another way to be active (other than going to the gym in the evenings). Its still to cold to bike to work, so Im thinking of taking my lazy dog for walks after work instead of lounging on the couch.
