Day 2

Today was a very good day. Well, until dinner. Though even that wasn't too bad.
This morning I woke up at 7 am (after going to bed at 1 am). I could've slept in like usual (I get up with the kids on Sat and hubby gets up with them on Sun) but I had planned to go to the gym this morning. There was an 8:30 am yoga class I wanted to take.
I had decided to take the Sunday morning yoga class at my gym because while it's a non-workout day for me I figure the stretching will be really good for sore muscles that have been worked hard the rest of the week. I may be just beginning but I want to stick to the routine, no matter if I'm on day 2 or day 20.
Yoga was excellent! I had a really good time, the instructor was wonderful, and it was a good workout. I felt weird that I was the fattest person in the room. But I kept on telling myself that in a few months I'll be one of the fit ones in the room.
My diet today wasn't too bad. I ate really healthy for my first 4 meals. My calories were a little under what I wanted them to be at that point but hey, it wasn't too bad considering that my workout was yoga (200 cal burned) and not weights (where I'll burn a ton more).
I had decided that for dinners I would have a protein, a veggie, and another side (rice, pasta, potatoes). My usual protein is some form of meat because no one in the house likes beans. My son had asked very nicely for some Mac and Cheese with dinner so I decided to make that my pasta (not a healthy pasta like my whole grain ones but oh well).
I realized that the only meat I had defrosted was ground beef (93% lean). I couldn't think of what to make with it so I made meatloaf. It's something I don't make often.
Just now I wrote the recipe on fitclick. My slice of meatloaf was almost 500 calories! If I knew that before I made it I would've made something else. Seriously.
If today had been a day where I did weights I wouldn't have minded so much. My total calories for the day weren't too far over what I wanted. But still. Dinner was way too many calories for the amount of food I ate.
My net calories for the day is 83. So it's not terrible. Plus in the morning I'm going to have my BFL weight workout. That's going to burn a TON of calories.
So overall it wasn't a bad day.
