Approx 30 pounds lost!! Wow... I really feel great!
I have definitely formed some good habits. Eating breakfast every morning, drinking lots of water, and WANTING to go to the gym! Thats right, I said "wanting". I usually go 6/7 days a week. If I don't go, I feel like a fat slob. I have found time to plan & cook meals, prepare lunches every day, etc.
I have been through my trials as well. I have come to learn what my triggers are for wanting to cheat (proud to say I have never succumbed to them!). I pushed through a frustrating plateau with vengeance. I have sacrificed fun nights with friends and my poker nights in order to stay away unhealthy choices ie) treats, drinks, smoking, etc.
I have won the Biggest Loser contest @ work last week again! A good competition definitely keeps my goal fresh in my mind daily. Especially when I have to jump on a scale in front of one of my co worker! :/
I am taking my weight loss goal seriously! Still one week at a time. I would like to lose another 30 pounds before May 1 -- cus our mexico vacation is booked and paid for!
The perks of my concerted efforts.... I look great, I feel great, I'm motivated! I need a new wardrobe and what women doesn't want an excuse for that?
I feel more confident. I have a lot more energy, and I'm more positive!
