I'm not sure if anyone will really want to read this but I feel desperate enough to write it, so here we are. I lost some weight in the fall, felt great and was at a very healthy and not overly thin weight of 132lbs for christmas. I, of course, would never been able to last at some type of healthy weight for any great amount of time, and now a short two months later have put on 16lbs!!! I really can't believe it. I was exercising quite frequently, a few times a week at least, in the fall, but with a new year instead of keeping my active lifestyle, I decided that with a cold winter we could skip it. Exams, work, school, life all just seemed to busy, and now i'm super bummed.

I'm sure at least a few of those pounds are water weight and bloating. I had just weighed in after a night of gorging and drinking, but still, it's not 16lbs of nothing. I'm sure it shows too because a friend of mine mentioned something. I'm sure she didn't mean to offend me but I'm on a diet now.

My 'goal' has always been 100lbs, which for a 5'2'' female frame isn't ridiculous, but that would also give me at least 15lbs of grace room. Apparently, I gave up early and took the non-existent grace.

I know that overall I'm not really that overweight, but at 20 years old, I shouldn't be overweight at all. I really need to learn how to manage this food problem I have clearly developped. I mean really 16lbs in two months.

I used to just weigh myself once a week, to avoid obsessing, but these last couple weeks, during which the pounds have really piled on, I literally didn't weigh myself because I new the week hadn't been good. I decided that until I'm back in the 130s I'm going to weigh myself everyday. It will probably only take me 2-3 weeks because a lot of it is probably bloating from excess food intake.... When I get to 139 or whatever I plan to weigh myself everyother day just because it's less stressful.

Today, actually wasn't a very good diet day, but it was a reasonable regular day. Hopefully I can transition nicely to a healthy diet, where I lose weight slow enough but be able to maintain it. It's soo hard because if you let yourself go a little it's to go a lot. Give an inch and next thing you know I ate the whole bag of chips...
