Cookout Season

So okay, my husband is going to get some food to put on the grill today. I am talking about hot dogs, burgers, chicken, steak, etc. Of course we are going to have beans, spaghetti salad, potato salad, cole slaw and all to go with it. I know we overcook, and therefore I over eat. I have the tendency to finish the food on my children's plates before throwing it out. Why you may ask? My answer... because there are people starving in this world and it would be horrible to just throw food out. It seemed like a good enough reason to me before the food started showing up in my midsection. I have to practice self control. I need to practice making the right diet choices. I do not want to diet for the rest of my life. I just want a healthy lifestyle. Changes must be made.
