Things are looking up.
I'm happy, it's snowing (yes, first day of spring.. I know, I know...), it's almost in the PLUS degrees of the thermometer...
outdoor running will hopefully commence again soon...
I'm trying to change my lifestyle one step at a time.
Each week, I've been making one adjustment, and so far, I have been able to stick with it!
so far I have modified:
1) no chips / fries / onion rings / nachos
2) adding 8+ glasses of water per day (skin looks and FEELS better!!)
this week, I have decided to add 20 minutes of cardio per day.
THAT being said, I'm still not set on having 'roll-over" minutes... say I do 60 minutes tonight, would I be eligible to skip tomorrow and Wednesday?
hmmm.... i think that's a cop-out.
And my puppy would be really happy going out for 20-minute power-walks / jogs every day ... so that's a great motivation.
I've also seemed to somehow keep my hands off the yummy stuff, and stared preparing foods in advance!
I think the pieces are starting to fall into place...
