Hello All!

My name is Mindy and I am 17 years old (18 in January!) Anyway, I graduate next year and I want to lose weight to be able to feel confindant and look great for my last year of high school. Not to mention actually being able to fit in to some pants!!

Last time  I weighed myself, it was 330 pounds. I hate myself for it, but I also don't know any different. I have always been big since like 5th grade. So for me, being big is normal, but now I see the sadness of it. I can't do anything that other people can. I can't even go hang out with my friends because I can't fit in thier car or something.

I wear size 24-28 pants. It sucks because they don't make very many pants for a teenager in those sizes and the ones they do make, tend to rip right between my legs cause I have to wear them a lot because you can only find so many. Right now, I have 2 pairs of pants, capris and worn out jeans. My other pair ripped open the other day so I have to get through the rest of the school year, which is not that many days.

So this is my goal, to weigh at least 150 by sometime of my life, but by the 27th this month I am going to try to lose 5 pounds. And I am just going to keep setting weekly goals until I get to 150. (hopefully by the time I graduate I am at least in like the 200s.)

Anyway, I have to get cleaning my room and stuff.

Good luck on your journey!! And we'll get through this together!
Love, Mindy.
