I just can't seem to stick to a certain diet or exercise plan

I've tried for a long time! I have lost 3 pounds but I just can't seem to get a handle on this! I just don't have the motivation to get up and exercise! Can anyone help me? whats a good motivation tool? Can anyone motivate me pleeeeaase?
