How to break a plateau

I've been on a plateau for about a year, with gaining and losing the same 5 pounds. I figured out that I need to go back to sipping instead of gulping, and planning ONE meal that is the correct number of calories & nutrients to eat throughout the day. I figured out how to put the amounts in on the diet tracker. You figure out how many small meals it will take to finish a whole one and then divide. So, if the meal is a total of 600 calories, and it will take 6 smaller meals to finish the whole, then you divide 6 into 600 and you get 100 each. On the tracker, you put 1/6 of whatever measure it is. That works. I also added onto the diet tracker "blood sugars" and "hours of sleep" (0 calories, with whatever number you put on not counting in as calories) so you can print out your daily list and keep it in a notebook! This is all OK for the public to use. Wish me luck losing that 5 and keeping it off. I lost 100, but still need to lose another 60 pounds at least. Dated June 10, '11
