On my way

I started "dieting" in April, but didn't get serious until mid May, after only losing 4 pounds in 6 weeks. Having been on many different diets before, I know what I should eat, that I should drink alot of water, that I have to exercise or at least move more every day, and that I will have days where I don't do so well. I am learning I can pick up and start right back again, and recommit if I have a bad day. I have also weighed myself every day this time, I think this helps to establish a pattern of my natural fluctuations, and I am being faithful about logging every morsel I put in my mouth...this keeps me honest, and it reminds me how easy it is to overindulge without even trying!!!I am happy to say that as of this morning, I have lost a total of 14 pounds, 10 pounds in the last month. Much better, and it makes me feel like I am accomplishing my goal. I have also been doing much better at my exercise regime and feel stronger and more energetic already. I plan to make this my lifestyle, I am tired of being overweight, unable to do what I want, depressed about how I look, and feeling horrible. So, Toto, lets begin this journey, I'm on my way!!!
