So I've been slacking on the blog posts recently, but I've been a little busy. Yesterday I did go to the gym... as much as I felt like I didn't want to. Fortunately, I had a really really good run. It seems like those days when you don't feel like working out are the days you really should. You almost always feel amazing after.
On the other hand.. I've still been having trouble staying on a strictly healthy diet and it's been bumming me out a bit this week. Until today of course, when I realized that my monthly visitor has arrived.
Moral of today's story:
Don't beat yourself up over not eating the right things ALL the time. Sometimes it's your body telling you that it's missing something. Or, in my case, it's going through its regular routine/preparation. We are animals after all, and sometimes instinct (like gain wait in preparation of possibly having a baby) pulls us towards certain decisions. Embrace it. You can get back on track the following week. Not to mention, some of my best workouts are during THAT week. So no worries ladies, you'll get to your banging body soon enough. Just don't forget to give your body what it needs when it asks for it!
Well, needless to say, no gym today. But maybe I'll feel up to it tomorrow!
