thriving on a routine

this morning.  Feeling guilty?  Yes, I am. I admit it.  But I've decided to get past it and am moving forward.  Work has been busy and I'm finding myself constantly getting up to go get my next snack.  Not that I'm eating all the time but Breakfast, Morning Snack, Lunch, Afternoon Snack all take effort!  That is fine.  I am saving calories by subsituting the butter with the If Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray.  Also, I dared to only use one piece of whole wheat bread for my lunch today.  It felt weird but staying busy, I didn't dwell on it too long.  Thinking back, I sure didn't miss it.

I'm finding that my afternoon snack I want to be substantial.  By then, I have had a long day and am winding things down to finish up before leaving work.  So.  I have to see what I can do to give myself a heartier snack then.

Ironically, after all the drama of not keeping it together this weekend, I feel absolutely great about how I'm doing.  Odd, isn't it?  Anyway.

I don't normally walk 4 miles in the morning but it was only 57 minutes long and I think I managed to be fine.  At lunch, I walked one mile and felt fine.

Five miles in one day?  Plus, I'll do another walk in a few minutes because that is what I usually do.  I've never done this much in one day.

I thrive on routine.  I do good at work and home because of the routine.  I will now plan my weekends better, knowing it is tough for me right now.
