didn't wanna do it, but I did it

I've been waking up early to walk every morning and for the most part, has been going fine. This morning, I just didn't want to do it. Then I rewinded before I started tracking food and workouts and slowly got up.
I've only lost a few pounds but my clothes are fitting much better now. It has motivated me to keep at it, even though I encountered that yuck feeling this morning. Instead of walking the 4 miles and scrambling around like a crazy woman to get to work on time, I only walked 2 miles. I am going to enjoy having a bit of extra time to prep my meals and snacks. I think I needed this, just a little more time.
I think my diligent efforts to exercise and eat better is contagious! My honey has been walking every evening whether I am able to go or not. He has always wanted to walk in the evenings but I hate going as late as he goes. He will usually go with our teen son. This heat has taken such a toll and even though it is miserable hot, it is nice to get outside.
