Got in a rut, scrambling to snap out of it

I don't know.  I just didn't work out for like three days (weekend).  I still noted my food intake but it was so odd to me that the more I didn't follow my routine, the more I wanted to just not do it.

I'm consistently weighing daily and checking in on fitclick but when I'm wanting a snack, I almost become an animal!  I can't eat fast enough!   I tend to want to snack when I'm watching a show on t.v.

Solutions?  Continue doing what I know that is right.  Tracking food intake and workout (even if it is only two miles a day).  Keep snacking healthy.  Keep reading articles to teach me about metabolism, burning calories, etc.  Drink MORE water.  I've noticed my portion sizes have decreased.  Yeah!  THAT is amazing, except when I lost control and snacked crazy the other night.

Ate out with co-workers today and wanted SO BAD to eat something bad for me but I ate a grilled chicken salad with a couple Tablespoons of dressing.  I'm glad I did right, looking back.

Instead of staying up late watching t.v. and keeping my options open to snack more, I am going to get more sleep.

I'm discouraged but not devastated.  I still feel like I have a handle on losing weight and being healthier.  Just got in a rut and now I'm pulling myself out of it.

Scale shows I've lost six pounds.  I feel like I'm so skinny (even though I'm not!)  :o)  Holding on to this feeling to keep me motivated to continue to lose weight and GAIN energy!
