Well, I've been "fat" since i was just starting middle school. I never knew much about nutrition, I would eat Spaghettios, raviolis, ramen noodles, pizza rolls, hot pockets, candy, and just lots of carbs and pastas. I come from a family that loves to cook and eat even more so it was an obvious one that I was going to be heavier set.

The heaviest I ever weighed was 190# about three years ago. I started losing weight when i met my boyfriend now of 3 years. He is really big on working out and staying lean (he was a chubby child too). So it started then, i guess i unconsiously started eating less often. Eventually he started having me workout a little, i didnt know what to do or have anything to use so his help was very usefull and inspiring. I was a smoker which made things harder. Jogging for instance was embarassing; i could only go down the road a couple blocks. Now i have quit smoking and started doing a little weight training. I can run a little further now but still have a lot to improve on.

I binge eat a lot though and tell myself (oh i'll just start eating better tomorrow) and that NEVER works! I'm a sucker for snacking, and when i drink i eat a lot without mental punishment.

SO TODAY IS THE DAY I MAKE MY PLEDGE TO TREAT MY BODY LIKE IT DESERVES TO BE TREATED I will nourish it instead of feeding it junk, lessen my sweet intake, eat more fruits and vegetables, drink more tea coffee and water to feel full, eat more protein and lean meats, decrease my alcohol intake, exercise more, and in general treat my body well so it can do the same for me.

(MY GOALS)

1) Gain self confidence and self acceptance 2) Be fit mentally and physically 3)Stay on the healthy track for life FOCUS 4)Lose the weight that lingers and become stronger
