On October 1, 2011, I decided to lose weight. I have tried in the past (eleven years at failing). I have tried several diet pills--it did not work. So now I am trying to actually exercise and eating healthy. I currently weigh 201 lbs. My goal each week is to lose 5 lbs, exercise five times a week (cardio 1 hour, weights 30 min).

On October 9, 2011, I weigh-in at 192 lbs. YEAH! I lost 8 lbs in one week. I am so excited. I know the first 10 lbs are probably water weight; but I am still happy about my short-term goal accomplishment. I am currently using two free online programs--FitClick (helps me schedule meals and counts calories, carbs, protein, and fat intake) and also generates an exercise program for me. I am aslo using FreeTrainer.com it helps with weigh training exercises for me as well.

I still get to eat the foods I like no restrictions just counting the nutriental contents. For my weight goal to lose 30 lbs in 90 days so far I am on track. The different exercises have increase my energy level. I thought I would tired and exhausted from workong out in a gym for 1 1/2, but I come out the gym full of energy (I actually came home and cleaned the house).

I also have my boyfriend helping me by going to the gym with me. For me, I know having someone to exercise with is A BIG HELP because before I was trying to do it alone and IT DID NOT WORK FOR ME. I really thought I could not afford a gym membership, but once I cut-out eating at fast food (at least $5 per day); the gym membership is only $30 a month. Which one is better for me--gym or fast food? Duh BINGO the little light went offf in my head! LOL

Well, my next weigh-in is Sunday October 16, 2011 I will keep you posted. Oh by the way I do not get on the scale every day but only once a week---on weigh in day because I do not want to get too discourage or depress from not seeing the weigh drop. I also have an old pant suit size 10 I am using it as reference as well to see how my body is changing. I currently wear a size 13/14.
