A few weeks ago, I started my FitClick program with the best attitude... only to find that no matter how my attitude was, my heart wasn't in it and there was no way it would actually last. So I stopped my workout plan and went back to eating fast food and pizza. Last night after thinking it over long and hard, I realized that I might be failing because I do not talk to anyone nor have a support system for my plan. I try and fail miserably with diets and so forth numerous times a year only to end up sad and still fat. It easy to talk to my boyfriend and roomate about my diet but since they are not doing it with me and probably have no interest in the matter, they offer no help. Hence, my presence here. Honestly, I do not even need any support, but more somewhere to let it all out and brag a little about what I've done that day. Now today, I started with a healthy lunch, a large dose of water, and an intense 30minute cardio workout. I figure, if I can keep it up at least that much, I will be more than swimsuit ready for my 21st birthday cruise in May. Oh, I should add-- I am not extremely overweight. I am 5'9" and weighing in at about 185, so my goal to be ready by May is not extremely outrageous. I want to slim down and be back in the "healthy" range and maybe add a little muscle tone here and there :) Whether they are read or not, these posts are my way of patting myself on the back.
