Christmas goodies are the DEVIL!

The Christmas goodies are in full force.... they linger at every turn. Just when I think I've conquered my cravings and made it through the danger in the lunchroom, I see a stash of chocolates sitting in a big bowl by the photocopier at work! FML.....
If its not chocolates, its cookies.... if it's not cookies, its candy. Christmas is a dieters' nightmare! Who invented Eat, Drink and be Jolly?!! Eat, Drink and get fatter is more like it...
I've been heading to the gym to work out my food frustrations. Do people know the handful of chocolates you are so nonchalantly eating is 30 minutes worth of painful excruciating exercise?! God... its not worth it people!! TRUST ME!
I know what your thinking... tis the season, right? A little leniency this time of year isn't so bad. LIES... Myths! Malarky! A little leniency leads to large leniency leads to extra large in general. Extra Extra large for some. Once I get started, the train derails very fast and no one survives. Especially not the chocolates.
Oh yes... we can fool ourselves into thinking 'its just the Christmas holiday...' and 'Im making a new years resolution to lose weight, I'll start then' and even the 'its only a little winter weight', but life is never so simple.
I will leave you with this..................
Christmas is full of friends and family, and memories that will last well into next year, right? Well do yourself a favor and don't allow your friends and family to remember seeing you gorge yourself on treats! Dont let them remember how you squeezed into that Christmas dress and how you were constantly pulling at your clothes because of how uncomfortably fat you felt! Dont let them see the acne brought on by all the sugar you ingested! Dont greet them with a fake smile when your actually miserable inside because you cant find anything that fits right and looks good on your love handles! And definitely dont get caught at a wrong camera angle... cus those Christmas pictures will circulate for one full year before you get a chance to rectify them next year.
Say No to the Christmas gooodies this year! There will always be another Christmas and another bowl of chocolates to haunt you next year!!
