My little break...

OK, so I talked about speeding up the loss, but then I got to thinking...
I really wanted to take a little break. As much as I wanted it to be a sprint to a thinner life, it is more like a marathon.
When I started, I wanted to lose about 190 lbs. After 4 months, I had dropped 80 lbs. And I will tell you, I felt better, looked better, everything I did, I did better... if ya know what I mean. So I was looking at 110 lbs left to lose, and about 9 months to do it in. Slow and steady would likely get me there, but it is the holiday season, and I simply wanted to take a break. Not go crazy, and put on 15 lbs, just take a break.
So basically I did that last week. Ate in a really weird way for me, and not one I want to grow comfortable with. But I got to sample some stuff I hadn't had in over 4 months, and it has been nice. I plan to get started right back, as soon as Santa has come and gone. For now, I want to enjoy the holidays.
Oh, and by the way, during this period of relaxation(approx 3 weeks), I did manage to drop another 5 lbs! That is WAY slower, but not bad for being on a break.
