I am new here- I have researched weight loss support groups online and this seems to have a lot of tools I need.  I belonged to another site quite a few years back and it worked great - I felt more motivated to keep going with my diet and exercise when I was blogging my journey.  I lost up to 90 lbs in approximately 1 year.  However this past year I gained 30 of it back (29 to be exact).  Very depressing, but understandable given life circumstances.  All I can do now is get back on track and try my best to stay there.  I maintained my weight loss for well over a year so I know I can do this.  I just need to get started!

I will not howver start until after this week!  I am in the process of making sugar loaded Christmas cookies!  I lan to send most of these out to family and friends, but I know I will consume my share!  I thought anout not baking them, but my kids did not even have a tree last year.  So this year we have a tree and of course cookies!  :)

Anyway I lost weight going the all natural way - back to how people used to eat before manufacturing.  I get most of my food from a farm.  We do crazy things like drink raw milk and eat raw yogurt.  I was about 250 lbs 2 years ago and dropped to 160 and stayed there for well oer 12 months.  I am now 188 - was at 190 a few weeks ago.  My ultimate goal is 140 lbs - maybe 145 - will depend on how I feel when I get to that point.

My problem is I consume too many processed sugary foods.  I have an addiction to sugar and will do my best to go cold turkey from sugar after next week.  I will even stop drinking coffee.  I was off coffee for over 2 months this year and felt great.  But going back to working nights, I started drinking it again and of course adding yummy coffee creamer!  UGH!  It starts to spiral out of control and now I am nearly 30 lbs heavier.

So my goal is to go completely all natural - no processed foods or drinks at all!  When I did this 2 years ago I remember starting to like things I never liked before because my taste buds started coming alive again!  I want to get back to that point.  I also want my clothes to stop feeling tight again!  LOL!

So that is it in a nutchell - will be back every few days to update.  I also plan to start walking more - the best I can do for now exercise wise.
