Herro everyone! My name is Ally. I am sixteen years old and I currently weigh 140 pounds. This may not seem like much to some, but standing at only 5'1", It's pretty frightful.
I aim to consume only 500 or so calories a day, less if that. This would put me at roughly a pound or so lost daily. If I could stick that, I wouldn't have a problem, but sadly, when I'm around people, my will-power and discipline go right down the drain. So I'm hoping that a daily blog will make me feel some sense of accountability towards what I consume and the things I do.
I've tried other diets, Atkins, and what-have-you, but nothing ever seems to work for me. This however, has made quite an impression so far. Just a week and a half ago, I weighed in at 152, and seeing that number on the scale was excruciating. We all know that sinking feeling in our hearts when that little number goes up. Something clicked then, and I knew that I had to lose this weight, or be stuck the way I am forever, chubby and miserable.
My goal weight is roughly around 100 pounds, which is a normal weight for someone my height. So hopefully I can stick to this, and see some results.
