Day 3

I have never blogged before. Not sure really what I am to do other than just tell about my day as it happens. So, here it goes...new to this fitclick site and trying to figure it all out. Have my meals figured out and how to track my calories and to weight in and such, but having trouble with the workouts. At least I am working out even though it isn't showing up on my page..lol. Every day I sit at a desk and have gotten into the habit of thinking I need a snack or soda to help me thru my day. So I am breaking that cycle..have started drinking water (w/crystal lights help), cut out my all day soda sipping. No more trips to the vending machine looking for that snack. Going to start with taking an apple to snack on instead. I love to do my Turbo Fire and my Zumba dvd's, but it is hard to start back up when you get out of the routine. But I know they work, have lost 25 lbs doing them. So, for this new year in 2012 I am starting that routine again. Want to feel better and be healthier and lose some more pounds. Any help or suggestions from anyone would be great.
Guess I could fill everyone in with who I am..I am 45, married, with 5 children, 2 step children, and 4 grandkids. i work for our local county Sheriff and love my job and co-workers. My kids enjoy doing my workout routines with me which helps alot. My children range from 23-3 yrs of age, still have 4 at home.
