Saturday Night Out

I used to think that I couldn't sit around and watch other have a pint or beer or a few rye and coke without joining in, but last night I did just that. I ordered a diet coke instead of my regular diet coke with vodka and I didn't feel like I was missing anything at all. The waitress kept bringing me refills so fast without asking I ended up drinking 4 large cups... I'm just glad is wasn't the regular sugary type.
When it came to ordering food,my friends and I almost always split a tray of nachos. Since Its been a good week I decided to treat myself. Instead of reaching for the chips with the most cheese and dipping them in the sour cream, I counted each chip as I ate it and only went for the ones with little cheese and more veggies, and instead of sour cream I had salsa. Again, I didn't feel like I was missing out. Before it was almost like I was afraid to go for the nachos without cheese.
All in all a good night out, I was worried that it could sabotage all my hard work the past couple weeks but it really didn't.
Sunday weigh in... down a couple lbs this week.
