First days...

I’ve been hinted to that I could lose a few pounds. I could lose the spare tire that mysteriously developed around my waist after ten years. Nope, that's not me. Neither is the back fat that suddenly appeared after I had my daughter in 2002. My face appears pudgy too.
I've got a plan, but first you should know... I love food. I love food freshly prepared and made for a King to enjoy. Proportioning has been difficult for me because I listen to what my stomach says, not what my brain tells me.
My plan is to eat breakfast with my daughters in the morning. This includes fruit and yogurt and I plan on depleting the overstock of Cheerios in my pantry. For lunch, a diet-shake. Surprisingly, they don't taste too much like baby food. For dinner, I've got to watch my carbs. Ask my thighs.
I started making mental notes on what I eat yesterday. As a New Year's resolution I elected to make losing weight a priority. Good luck to those who've read this and are on the same path I am. Good or bad, stick to it. Your thighs will thank you, ask them.
