Here I am...at 36, trying to lose weight...again! It seems like an ongoing struggle since high school. So what's different now? Well, I have reached my weight peak. I have never been at this weight...not even when I was pregnant. It's getting harder to walk...the smallest climb of steps seem like climbing Everest; but the straw that broke the camel's back...it's taking a toll in the bedroom.
Enough is enough! I love eating, but I love being able to move and keep up with my kids. Even sitting for a long period of time and getting up hurts my legs...
So what is the game plan this time? I've tried everything...
One family member has joined Weight Watchers; another friend has joined Jenny Craig; and so far both are doing great. ME....I don't have time for meetings; but I do want a support group.
So here I am...joined a gym (which I go with my husband to, after work), doing Slim Fast (any advice? Let me know, plz), trying to make healthy choices and reaching out to fellow dieters.
This time around...I know I'm going to do it!
