For as long as I can remember I have had a major sweet tooth and my body has suffered because of it. I have never been overly concerned about healthy living but I would get so frustrated when I gained weight. That doesn't seem overly fair to me.
About 2 weeks ago I decided that I was done being overweight. I was tired of back problems and knee problems because I did not work with my body to make it stronger. I was fed up with having no energy  or motivation because my diet lacked greatly in the nutrition dept.
I decided I was going to just eat salads for a while. I felt like I needed to detox my body of all the chemicals, sugars and junk that I had put into it for so many years.  I went through all kinds of withdrawals. It was almost like when i quit smoking a few years back. I had sugar withdrawals that made the cigarette cravings look like they were nothing at all.
I added small exercises to my daily routine so that I was active but not knowing much about working out my options are pretty limited. With these small changes I have gone from 198 lbs to 185 lbs in about 2 weeks. I get on the scale and noticed a daily difference. Which honestly only motivates me more. I have a little more energy and for the first time in my life I feel like maybe I can actually maintain a healthy lifestyle.
