Well....I have been losing weight way before joining this website, ever since July of last year. When I first started losing the weight I was 195 pounds, I am now at 146 pounds and my goal was to reach 140 before my 24th birthday. When it comes to me exercising and eating right I never really struggled with having to do them. Its just that my family hasn't really made it easy for me while I was in the progress of doing so. I didn’t have any support from anyone the whole time. I always felt ignored by them and it seemed like the only time they would pay attention was when they would crack jokes. "oh your getting too skinny" or " you don’t want to look like a crack head!" Even my own father who wasn't much of one in the first place...had the nerve to call me disgusting. I’m tired of having to constantly fight with them about why I am losing the weight. Because It sure wasn’t fun at all at being that heavy. With my knees always swelling on me, my blood pressure was messed up, I couldn’t even walk up a flight of steps without being tired. It wasn’t just hurting me emotionally it was hurting me on the outside as well. Yet it seems like it didn’t matter to them if it was or not...all that mattered was how I looked and not my health. I can't help but be sad by that and at times feel like giving up.
