All through out my child hood I was very active and was always moving. It seems like after I had my son and got married 2 years ago, I haven't moved from more than one room in my house to the next. After babyweight set in and eating what I wanted without exercise in my life anymore, I packed on a horrible looking 35 lbs. Sure, 35 lbs isn't that bad, but for me it feels like my love handles are dragging behind me on the ground!

So, I decided to stop crying about it and finally kick my butt back into gear! I have a weight of 162 at the moment and I'm hoping to lose about 43 lbs. My weight naturally fluctuates being a woman, so if I lose 43 lbs, I wont feel bad when the months come where I weight more or less.

I have started eating a few Nutrisystem diet meals a day, but I don't like that too much because they are so high in sodium. I drink almost purely water, and eat more fruits and vegetables with less meat. I have decided to either chicken, fish, or ham on rare occassions.

My exercise consists of a 2 - 3 mile walk about once a week for now, crunches, weight lifting, and jogging. I used to be on the track team, but I feel as though I haven't ran or jogged in my entire life. Will have to start slow I guess.

Here's to the new me by January next year! Everyone says they want to lose weight for the news year resolution, so sure, why not start early and make that resolution actually happen!

"Moo"ve over butter!
